Before you can take advantage of the real-time sales and analytics that Pegasus Reports has to offer, you must first establish a connection to your POS.  

This article will provide the step-by-step instructions to manually connect your Pegasus Reports account to your NCR Silver Essentials account. 

  TIP:  Skip the below steps and save yourself some time by requesting an Easy Setup Code.   To generate that code, we work with your POS company directly to perform the necessary integration and then provide you with a simple 10-digit code for connection.  It's easy, safe and secure!  

Get Connected

Your Silver back office back office account contains the following pieces of information, which are required to connect to Pegasus Reports:  

  Client ID

  Client Secret

  Store Number 

Once this information is entered into the necessary fields within Pegasus Reports, an initial set of historical data will be immediately downloaded to your device along with real-time sales and analytics.  

Access NCR Silver Back Office

The first step is to access your NCR Silver back office API credentials.

To do this: 

  1. Log into your NCR Silver Back Office account  
    • Keep in mind that this is the account associated with your Point of Sale and may be different than what you used to register with Pegasus Reports
  2. Select Settings within the top right navigation of the website and then Admin
    • Confirm that API Access has been enabled


  3. Select My Account within the top right navigation of the website and then Overview 


  4. Copy the Client ID and paste it to your clipboard (or directly into the applicable field within the Pegasus Reports app) 
  5. Copy the Client Secret Old and paste to your clipboard (or directly into the applicable field within the Pegasus Reports app)


  6. Select My Account within the top right navigation of the website and then My Stores 


  7. Copy the Store Number and paste it to your clipboard (or directly into the applicable field within the Pegasus Reports app) 

Pegasus Reports Integration 

Now that you have the information you need, you can simply paste it into the POS integration section of Pegasus Reports.

To do this:

  1. Open the Pegasus Reports app from your mobile device 
    • Login using the same method as what you used when registering for the app
  2. Select the more options icon  within the bottom right navigation
  3. Select  Site
  4. Select your site
    • If this is your first time logging in, your site name will default to "My Site", which can be changed at any time
  5. Select Set up beneath POS Integration
  6. Select NCR Silver
  7. Select Save
  8. Paste the copied information into the required fields



  9. Select Save

As soon as you enter this information and select save, you will immediately begin to see your data download to your device, along with real-time sales information.
